How long would you wait for the love of your life to come into your life? Matt chose to wait until 'a bit later in life' to find his one and only and boy did he chose a good one! Their love story reads like a book... just keep reading to find out!
Their wedding day was full of love and laughter from the moment we arrived until we were all leaving at night. Jacklyn and Matt chose to have 12 of their best friends and family standing next to them on their big day. They also had 4 of the cutest flower girls and ring bearers who adorned beautiful flower crowns and fun signs as they walked down the aisle. One of our favorite parts of the day was Matt's brother's speech to Jaclyn and Matt at dinner. He must have spent days, or even weeks writing and memorizing it because it was impeccable! He knows so much about their relationship and it made for a very personable and funny speech. He linked their relationship to multiples of 3 (an ode to the couple being math teachers) and told little antidotes about them from their time dating. My favorite factoid about Matt was the fact that he and all his male relatives LOVE the fact that their last name is Wolf and use any excuse possible to bring that to people's attention. Personal touches were scattered throughout the the whole venue all night. The place cards and table numbers were all famous Disney characters/couples and Matt even hand-made a storybook telling about how they met and fell in love; complete with cartoon characters of themselves! Jaclyn did an amazing job organizing and planning out the decor to match perfectly with her cake, invitations, and overall theme of the wedding. Despite the unfortunate rain that day, smiles never left Jaclyn and Matt's faces; they were just over the moon to be marrying their best friend! From the Bride: Matt and I first met in November when I was hired at the school where he teaches. We were introduced to each other at lunch and began to form a friendship. With winter approaching, Matt asked for my phone number under the premise that he would use it to let me know any time the school was closed due to know..but he seems like he wanted to ask me out. The fist snowy day of the season, Matt noticed me struggling to clear the snow off my car and stopped to help me. The next day I has a brand new ice scraper waiting on my teacher desk with a note from Matt. A few days later, we had our first date. After four years of concerts, vacations, sporting events, and family activities, Matt proposed to me in Disney World and we were married one year later!
