Every couple we work with has a unique story to share and we use those stories as inspiration for the moments we capture in our photographs. Jessica and Joe’s story reads like a romantic novel.
While attending Neumann University in 2009, Joe’s roommate was Jess’ older brother. After some time, Joe finally got the courage to ask his roommate if he could take his little sister out on a date. From that day on, Jess and Joe’s relationship grew stronger and after seven years of creating new memories together, Joe knew it was the right time to pop the question. On a Saturday in May of last year, Joe took Jess on a date in Philadelphia that she would never forget, Joe found a way to sneak out of the restaurant while their siblings took Jess to various locations around the city collecting a single rose at each stop. At the last stop, Jess found Joe on one knee waiting for her. For their wedding day they made sure to continue their romantic novel by having the ceremony at the historic Old St. Mary’s Church in Old City followed by an amazing reception in the old-world inspired Cescaphe Ballroom in Northern Liberties.
