Laura and Jimmy’s wedding was a night to remember. Since Jimmy is known as the king of surprises, the two secretly planned their wedding around Ocean City, New Jersey’s “Night in Venice,” an annual boat parade.
The Grand Marshal was none other than Alfonso Ribeiro, “Carlton Banks” from the TV show “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and host of “America’s Funniest Videos.” Jimmy and the groomsmen even got a picture with him before the “I do’s.” And if you look closely you will see a clue on Jimmy’s cufflinks, a subtle hint of the excitement to come. Meanwhile, Laura was spending time with her bridesmaids, looking quite exquisite in her wedding gown, and being showered with love from her parents before heading to the ceremony. And speaking of the ceremony, look at Jimmy’s face as he waited for his bride. Afterwards, the always-entertaining couple posed for pictures with their family. Then it was off for the EPIC surprise… Everyone, including their parents, thought the reception was going to be on the deck of a restaurant overlooking the bay. That was, until the newly married couple arrived on a large fishing boat and invited all the guests onboard! We made sure to capture the big reveal from every angle. It took a lot of patience and perseverance to pull this surprise off, but WOW did they ever! The happy couple ended the evening watching fireworks over the water, and even won 2nd place for “Most Original” in the parade!! Laura and Jimmy are all about BIG surprises! The two met online and quickly became a “Match” in December 2014. As their love blossomed, Jimmy asked Laura’s parents for permission to marry her only seven months later. Laura had a feeling the proposal was coming when Jimmy put down a deposit for a July 2017 wedding, but she would have to wait a little longer to say “Yes!” Jimmy planned the perfect proposal. During a mid-November sunset in 2016, Jimmy popped the question to Laura on the balcony of the Liberty View Ballroom overlooking Independence Hall. After Laura “ecstatically“ said yes, they entered the ballroom where, to her surprise, confetti fell and their song, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” played. Jimmy, who is known for memorable experiences, planned a table in the center of the ballroom with two glasses of champagne. But, the celebration didn’t stop there. A limo arrived, fully stocked, and the newly engaged couple picked up family and friends and “partied the night away.” But, as Jimmy says, “the engagement was just the appetizer to the wedding.”
