When it comes to memorable weddings there is always a reason that makes it so, but with this wedding I can't put my finger on just one reason why we LOVED Sara and Marc so much!
From the second we walked into their homes that morning, it was like hanging out with old friends. All day between photos either Marc or Sara would strike up a conversation with us about their relationship or tell us more about where we were at. Marc was telling us at one point that the farm we did portraits at was the farm he grew up on! We herd all about the barn, the dogs, and of course his horse! We also loved their sense of humor when Marc split his pants right before the ceremony, and I'm not joking around about this! We were sitting in a room with Sara waiting for the ceremony to start when her aunt came in looking for thread and a needle; I obviously followed to find out what was going on. Come to find Marc in another room with a decent hole right where you don't want one! Sara cracked up laughing when I told her what was going on, at first I didn't think she believed me! With the ceremony starting in minutes there was no time for Marc to get his hold patched and guess what - the ceremony went on just as planned! I'm not sure if any guests knew about it until a bridesmaid came and asked me to take a photo after the ceremony had concluded. Oh and not to mention Marc almost falling in mud that morning getting ready for the ceremony - do you think it was nerves or excitement? Sometimes, mother nature isn't always nice to Summer weddings and she decided that on this day, right at the end of portraits, it was time to pour down rain. Luckily we know how to work fast under this type of pressure and we saw the rain clouds coming; we got done just in time for one umbrella shot and then we were off to the party! Luckily, Sara and Marc were totally open to taking some extra time at night for more portraits outside since we got cut short earlier and I am so glad we did because they are some of our favorite images from the whole day!! From the Bride: Marc and I met fourth of July weekend 2015. We went out on our first date to Bethlehem Brew works and we talked all night. He told me he is on a search and rescue team and loves to be adventurous, and I told him how I love to travel and am a wine enthusiast. We hit it off and Marc called me the very next day. Soon we were jumping out of airplanes, going to Niagara Falls, New Orleans, Jamaica, wine tastings, and I was helping in his search activities. We never parted ways and did everything together as a team. Our families celebrated Christmas together and one day on a hike with our dogs Marc asked me to spend forever with him, and I said yes! Marrying my best friend has been the biggest and best experience of my life! We are so happy and can’t wait for our next adventure together!
